Refund policy

Your Consumer Rights Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, you have legal rights if your Teewing bike has a problem. This policy works alongside those rights and does not limit them in any way.

30-Day Change-of-Mind Returns If you change your mind, you can return your Teewing bike within 30 days of delivery for a full refund, provided it meets the conditions below.

Return Conditions: Your bike must be:

  • In original condition, with no use beyond a brief test ride to confirm it arrived correctly assembled
  • Returned with all original packaging, accessories, and documentation
  • Free from damage, wear beyond that test ride, or modifications
  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

What's Not Eligible for Change-of-Mind Returns

  • Bikes showing signs of regular use or wear
  • Custom or special orders
  • Accessories or parts that have been installed or used
  • Bikes damaged through misuse or accidents

Faulty or Defective Products If your bike has a manufacturing defect or fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the CGA, different rules apply. You are entitled to a remedy regardless of how long you have owned the bike, and we will cover any reasonable costs associated with returning a faulty product to us. Contact us at info@teewingbikes.co.nz as soon as you identify a fault, and we will work with you to resolve it.

Return Process (Change-of-Mind)

  1. Email info@teewingbikes.co.nz within 30 days of delivery
  2. We'll confirm eligibility and provide return instructions and an authorisation number
  3. Pack the bike securely in the original packaging
  4. Return shipping costs are your responsibility for change-of-mind returns

Processing Your Refund: Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receiving the returned bike and issued to your original payment method. Original outbound shipping costs are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
